Pangandaran is a town and district of Pangandaran Regency within the province of West Java, Indonesia. It is located on the southern coast of the island of Java. Pangandaran is a popular tourist destination based around its well-known surfing beach.
Pangandaran is a large fishing village situated on a narrow isthmus of land with Pangandaran National Park occupying the entire headland.

This place actually has a real name that is Cukang Taneuh. Green Canyon own name was popularized by a French citizen in 1993. While Cukang Taneuh got the sense that the land bridge. That's because over the valley and ravine Green Canyon there is a bridge of land used by local farmers.
Located in the Village Kertayasa Cijulang District, about 31 km from the tourist area of Pangandaran. This amazing attraction is actually a stream of the river passing Cijulang penetrate caves filled with stalactites and stalakmitnya beauty charm. In addition, this region is also flanked by two bukitt, there are many rocks and grove of trees. Everything was formed as a natural painting is so unique and so challenging to discover.
To reach this location travelers must depart from the dock Ciseureuh. Then traveled by boat or paddle paste is widely available there. The distance between the location of the dock with Green Canyon about 3 km, which can be reached within 30-45 minutes. Along the way we will cross the river with green water tosca. 2. Batu Hiu beach
Batu Hiu beach located in the village of Parigi Ciliang district, about 15 km west of Pangandaran tourist area. This beach has a very beautiful natural scenery. About 200 meters from the beach, there are a pile of rock that resembles a shark, that's why this place is called Batu Hiu.
